My values and beliefs

I find significance in being part of the tech ecosystem that has the potential to solve problems for our current and future generations.

Sharing from a point of servanthood and humility, with an openness for learning, is essential to me.

My joy and pride

I had the privilege to have a high growth career, by pivoting from data analytics to product management. As a data analyst in supply chain and logistics industries, I applied data analytics, problem-solving and stakeholder management to get buy-in for data-driven solutions. Currently, I enjoy Product Management because I get to understand users and enable their voices to be heard, collect essential product data and user feedback to deliver more value to the users, position product enhancement proposals to align with improved business outcomes and user experiences, and deliver the enhancements through team-based prioritisation of engineering resources. In Singapore Tourism Board, I enjoy influencing without authority through principles-based decision making. I was also able to understand a product's origins and evolution over the years to assess its current relevance to business outcomes and user objectives.

My work with people

I am passionate about stakeholder groundwork. Being empathetic, I am curious to learn about the blind spots I have in understanding and learning about people. In volunteering with children's mentoring platforms, I tutored children and led other volunteers to do the same. As a mentor in the SUTD community, I helped a student to get clarity in direction and confidence in herself.
